Supermodel Elle MacPherson told the world how she finds the new Fiat 500C sexy and cool.
The Australian born eye catcher received the keys to her new ride near her Notting Hill home. There can never be a glitzier launch for the convertible variant with all the celebrities kicking it off for the UK roll out of the car.
The Fiat 500C took spotlight in the motor show in Geneva back in March and officially went on sale in the United Kingdom last week. The UK is the first market to have a chance of owning the iconic small car.
The new convertible 500C actually pays tribute to the 1957 version of the Fiat 500 that sported a fabric roof. The current version of course features innovation in terms of the engine, design, and ride comfort.
The vehicle is basically designed as a car for the people. The Centro Stile of Fiat collaborated with international communities through the website 500 Wants You. The 500C was launched a year and a half after the UK debut of the Fiat 500.
The soft top version of the 500C retains its winning qualities and injected it with added features for better ride experience. This includes access to the boot even with the top open which was achieved by using a parallelogram system of hinges.
A ton of aerodynamic research was also implemented on the Fiat 500C to control turbulence while cruising on the road so passengers can enjoy the fresh air even with the roof down.
The interiors used to die for fabrics and combined it with some high technology features for the climate control, navigation, entertainment, and other options occupants can customize.
The Fiat 500C shares the same dimension with the Fiat 500 and all of its low emission engine variants which gives an option of a 69, 75, or 100 bhp which are all Euro5-compliant – a true green car.
